A missing accessory
is not a reason to scrap.
A downgraded item is not a lost item. Many move back up a grade with a clean, a replaced accessory or a straightforward repair.
What we bring back up
Diagnosis
The item is tested to separate cosmetic issues, missing parts and genuine faults. The estimated cost of restoration is set against the value it recovers.
Restoration that would cost more than it returns is not started.
Work
Cleaning, accessory replacement, repackaging, repair with original parts or parts taken from items stripped on our premises.
The parts used and the work carried out are recorded on the item.
Re-inspection and relisting
The item goes through the full inspection again, receives its new grade, is photographed afresh, and its product page is rewritten to describe its real condition.
The history of successive grades stays available.
The five possible exits
An inspected item takes one of these paths. None of them is a processing failure: each corresponds to a rule you approved.
-
Back into sellable stock
The item returns to stock under your brand, in its original packaging or an equivalent repack.
-
Sold online on our channels
The item is listed with its grade and its defects, at a price consistent with its actual condition.
-
Sold in a lot to a trade buyer
The item joins a homogeneous lot sold to a verified trade buyer, with the detailed list of references.
-
Spare parts
The item can no longer be sold whole, but its components repair other units of the same model.
-
Approved treatment channel
When no other route is possible, the item goes to an approved channel, with the corresponding certificate.

Frequently asked questions
Which items do you repair?
Those whose restoration costs less than the value it recovers. The diagnosis decides, family by family, and the rule is set with you.
Where do the parts come from?
Original parts where available, or items of the same model stripped on our premises. The source is recorded on the repaired item.
Are restored items covered by a warranty?
Warranty terms for restored items are defined in the contract, according to the product family and the resale channel chosen.
